On April 18, the Chongqing Education International Exchange Association hosted the First Chongqing Education International Exchange Conference. Over 400 educational professionals from China and abroad gathered to discuss new opportunities for international cooperation and explore strategies for advancing educational openness.

President Dong Hongchuan of Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) delivered a keynote report titled Critical Languages and Regional Studies in the main forum. He emphasized that SISU will spearhead the development of critical languages and regional studies in Chongqing, further driving the city’s international engagement, enhancing its global influence, and supporting high-quality opening-up in China’s western regions.
