On April 18, Confucius Institute at Lome University hosted an activity titled "Chinese: A Gift Across Time and Space" to celebrate International Chinese Language Day, and invited students from primary and secondary schools E.S.S.M.A, the Confucius Institute's teaching site, to participate in this activity

The main activity comprised: artistic performances and cultural experiences. The artistic performances, carried out by Chinese-major students, included sign language dance, Chinese classical dance, Chinese kung fu, Chinese songs, and a hanfu show.

The cultural experiences included five parts: martial arts, Hanfu dressing, tea art, Chinese printing, and calligraphy.
