On April 19, 2025, the Confucius Institute at the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod (LUNN), Russia, held the fifth Chinese dictation competition.

The competition attracted 164 participants from six cities, including middle school students, college students and Chinese language enthusiasts, reaching a record for the largest number of participants in the competition.
