On May 20, Anthony Preston, the British Consul General in Chongqing, and his delegation visited SISU.

President Dong Hongchuan met with the delegation and hoped to take this opportunity to promote cultural and educational exchanges between SISU and British universities.

Consul General Preston said that SISU was the first university he visited in his term of service in Chongqing, and he hoped to promote exchanges in cooperation, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative research between SISU and British universities in the future.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited Regional and National Research Institute.
