On May 13, a delegation led by Fabio Schina, the Italian Consul General in Chongqing, visited SISU.

President Dong Hongchuan expressed his hope to develop Italian major at SISU under the support of the Consulate General, and deepen the exchanges between China and Italy.

Consul General Schina stated his willingness to promote cultural and educational exchanges between SISU and Italian universities.

After the meeting, the delegation participated in a practice week activity organized by students majoring in Italian from the College of Western Languages and Cultures.
