On June 23, 2025, at the invitation of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, a delegation from the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) of India visited SISU. Gou Chaoli, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, met with the guests. Relevant responsible persons from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and researchers from the School of International Relations and the College of Eastern Languages and Cultures, attended the meeting.

Shen Huaqiao introduced the advantages of Chongqing and the characteristics of SISU in South Asian studies, and expressed the intention to carry out exchanges.

Nilanjan Ghosh, Vice President of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) of India, expressed his gratitude for SISU's hospitality and hoped to strengthen cooperation.

Subsequently, participants from both sides held discussions on issues such as urban governance, food safety, and bilateral relations.
