On November 1, Fernando Gonzalez, President of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples of the World, and his delegation visited SISU.

Gou Chaoli, Deputy Secretary of the SISU Party Committee, welcomed Gonzalez and his delegation. She expressed that SISU is willing to strengthen cooperation with Cuban higher education institutions.

Gonzalez appreciated the distinctive educational features of SISU. He expressed his hope to seek more opportunities for Cuban students to study and exchange at SISU, and also invited SISU students to study in Cuba.

After the meeting, Gonzalez and his delegation visited the College of Western Languages and Cultures and had friendly exchanges with teachers and students of Spanish major.
