From October 31 to November 1, the finals of the 2nd Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle International Chinese Education Competition were held at the Shizishan Campus of Sichuan Normal University. The competition attracted over 300 participants from more than 60 universities of Sichuan and Chongqing.

Students Li Yang and Li Jiale won the first prize in the Chinese student group, while international students Wei Ya and He Qi won the second prize in the international student group. Liu Siqiao, Zhang Xuemei, and Cen Yu were awarded third prize in the Chinese student group. Teachers Duan Wenhua, Zhang Hongjian, Wang Lufei, and Wang Hu from the School of Chinese Language and Culture received the Outstanding Instructor Award in the Chinese student group. Additionally, SISU was recognized as the Outstanding Organization.
