On the morning of October 12, Sheng Jianxue, Secretary-General of the China Scholarship Council, visited SISU. A symposia was held in the meeting room on the 4th floor of International Building, attended by the Party Secretary Zou Yu, the Deputy Secretary Gou Chaoli, and relevant college leaders.

Sheng Jianxue stated that the CSC is willing to provide SISU all possible support to improve its educational and teaching capacity, talent competitiveness, and domestic and international influence.

Party Secretary Zou Yu introduced the international cooperation and exchange situation of SISU and expressed the strong hopes to gain suggestions and support from the CSC.

Deputy Secretary Gou Chaoli sought help about the implementation of international cooperation projects and advancement of government-sponsored study abroad system reform. Sheng Jianxue provided responses to these appeals.
