On the afternoon of October 11, Dmitry Emelyanov, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Chongqing, visited SISU to attend the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition Independent and Sovereign Belarus. Representatives from the Chongqing Foreign Affairs Office and SISU participated in the event.

In his speech, Consul General Dmitry Emelyanov expressed his gratitude to SISU for the meticulous preparation of the exhibition. He hoped that the diverse images provided by the Belarusian News Agency would help SISU faculty and students gain a deeper understanding of Belarus which could facilitate bilateral student exchanges and visits.

Party Secretary Zou Yu stated that, leveraging SISU language advantages and the professional capabilities of the Belarusian Studies Center, SISU is willing to build bridges for Sino-Belarusian interaction.
