On October 15, Julian Lasinger, Deputy Consul General of Germany in Chengdu, visited SISU. Deputy Secretary Gou Chaoli met with the delegation.

Deputy Secretary Gou Chaoli expressed hopes to strengthen educational and cultural exchange cooperation with German universities with the help of the German Consulate in Chengdu. Deputy Consul General Julian appreciated the achievements of the German major at SISU and expressed the hope to deepen the cooperation and exchange with the SISU and base on the Goethe Center at SISU to organize language competitions.

Subsequently, Julian and his delegation had a friendly exchange with the faculty and students of the College of German Studies.
