On October 31, local time, the first “Rising Star” translation competition was held in “Zoom” conference room by Confucius Institute at Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University. Both Russian and Chinese teachers had made a good preparation for the selection of the translated texts which were interesting, scientific and close to life. Ninety-eight students participated in the competition which stimulated their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.
