On the afternoon of September 9, You Yang, Senior International Liaison Officer of the Department of International Service at the University of Queensland's Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, visited SISU to discuss potential collaborations. Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the College of International Law and Sociology, the College of English Studies, the College of Translation and Interpreting, the school of  International Relations, the school of Journalism and Communication attended the meeting.

During the meeting, You Yang introduced the University of Queensland and expressed the intention to collaborate with SISU on a combined undergraduate and postgraduate program. The two sides had an in-depth discussion, and consent to comprehensively evaluate its feasibility to include it in the official agenda of the two universities as soon.
