On June 26, 2025, a delegation of Jordanian youth political leaders visited SISU. Gou Chaoli, Deputy Secretary of the CPC University Committee, met with the guests. Leaders from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the college of Eastern Languages and Cultures, and the Institute of Area Studies also attended the meeting.

Deputy Secretary Gou Chaoli welcomed the Jordanian delegation, introduced the distinctive features of Chongqing and SISU, and reviewed the university’s exchanges with Arab countries. She expressed the university’s willingness to explore cooperation with the Jordanian side in multiple fields.

Mohammad Dawoodiya, Chair of the delegation, highly commended China’s development achievements and acknowledged the accomplishments SISU has made in talent cultivation and international exchange.

During the subsequent discussion, delegation members engaged in productive dialogue with representatives of SISU on topics such as youth participation in global governance, the development of new media, and cooperation in vocational education. They expressed a strong interest in collaborating with SISU in talent training and think tank exchanges.
