On Saturday, October 21, 2023, Confucius Institute at Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod(LUNN) held a Chinese Corner on traditional Chinese painting of orchids and plum blossoms. Over 90 participants attended this activity, including primary and secondary school students, college students, and local citizens from Nizhny Novgorod.

Liu Shuo, a teacher from Confucius Institute at LUNN, taught the painting techniques of ink and wash, introduced the five methods of Chinese painting, painting tools, and the correct way to hold the brush. This event was warmly welcomed by the local community.
