On July 29 local time, the Embassy of China in Togo held a reception to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the inauguration of Ambassador Wang Min. Teachers and students from the Confucius Institute of Lome University were invited to attend the event and showcased Chinese culture at the reception.

At the reception, Zeng Lejia from Confucius Institute at the University of Lome performed a welcome song, followed by the students 'heartfelt duet of' Ru Yuan' (As Wished) in Chinese and French.
