From February 9 to 17, 2024, the Confucius Institute at Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod successfully held a series of Chinese New Year celebration activities, including the 2024 New Year Concert, the Swiss Park gala party, celebration at the Volga River Passenger Port, and various festivities at the "House of National Unity," the university's main campus, and several primary and secondary schools in Nizhny Novgorod.

The activities featured traditional cultural experiences such as Chinese calligraphy, painting, tea arts, knot-tying, and lantern-making. There were also exhibitions on Chinese traditional clothing, a VR experience zone showcasing Chinese culture, and displays of Chinese traditional artworks.
