From February 20 to February 28, a series of Lantern Festival celebrations were held by Confucius Institute at Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University. There was an online lecture about the traditions of Lantern Festival and the method for making lanterns. After that, a lantern-making competition and a photo contest were held. The Lantern Festival celebration was the most influential event which had attracted more and more Russian people to learn about Chinese traditional culture and enhance their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.
