Vice president of Azerbaijan Language University, Jala Garibova, paid an official visit to SISU with her deligation. Vice presidents of SISU, Li Jianping and Yue Yong, met with the guests respectively and extended their warm welcome to the delegation.

In the morning, Vice President Yue had a talk with the guests in Gele coffee shop. Vice President Yue first gave a brief introduction on SISU and the ongoing eduction internationalization effort. The Azerbaijan counterpart Madame Jala Garibova presented the situations and characteristics of Azerbaijan Language University. Both sides expressed their willingness to implement further communication and cooperation, and had an in-depth discussion on issues as exchange projects of teachers and students.

At noon, Vice President Li met with Madame Jala Garibova and her delegation. Vice President Li introduced the development and fruitful results of the international Chinese education progress in SISU. Madame Jala Garibova showed a great interest in mandarin-learning as well as Chinese culture, and a positive expectation to the forthcoming collaborative projects. A series of cooperation in domains of mandarin-teaching, culture-exchanging and so on, were finalized during the talk between two counterparts.

Faculty such as the deputy director of the Office of International Cooperation & Exchanges, Prof. Chen Gong, Dean of the Department of Russian, Prof. Li Xiaotao, Deputy director of the Department of International Students, Prof. Shen Xiaowu, senior staff of the Department of Chinese, Prof. Zhou Qihong, senior staff of the Department of Russian Prof. Fu Jing, also participated in the meetings.
