On the afternoon of June 6, the delegation led by Nikonova Zhanna, President of Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod in Russia visited SISU and attended the 10th Council of the Confucius Institute at Nizhny Language University.

President Dong Hongchuan introduced SISU and hoped to strengthen the cooperation with Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, facilitate the exchange of teachers and make academic communications based on the tie built by Confucius Institute. President Nikonova showed her will to establish deeper cooperation with SISU and wished Confucius Institute will make more achievements under the friendship between China and Russia. Besides, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on how to cultivate senior high-level talents of simultaneous interpretation and on textbooks compiling suitable for foreign language majors.
