From May 31 to June 1, 2022, sponsored by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, hosted by Chongqing Normal University, and co-sponsored by Confucius Institute Work Alliance of Chongqing, the finalsof the first International Chinese Language Education Contest in Chongqingwas successfully held in the auditoriumof Chongqing Normal University.

DOUHADJI-COMBEY YAO MODESTE, a Togolese international student from the College of Chinese Language and Culture in SISU, won the first prize of the international student group. Gan Xiaorong, Du Jingwen, Zhang Xinyue, and Zhu Huihui, Chinese students from the same collegewon the first prize, the second prize, the third prize, and the excellence prize respectivelyin the Chinese student group.
