On April 1,2021, Uruguayan Ambassador to China Fernando Lugris visited SISU, and President Dong Hongchuan met with the guests. President Dong Hongchuan forwarded the cooperation agreement signed between SISU and ORT University of Uruguay to Ambassador Fernando Lugris. He said that SISU values the exchanges with Uruguayan universities and hopes to expand the cooperation between our school and relevant Uruguayan universities. Fernando Lugris expressed his gratitude to Chongqing Municipality and SISU for their support and assistance in the establishment of the embassy Uruguay in Chongqing and will actively promote educational cooperation between SISU and Uruguay universities.
