On January 28, 2021, Dong Hongchuan, president of SISU, Yang Jun, dean of College of Russian Studiesof SISU, and Zhu Tianxiang, deputy director ofOffice of International Cooperation and Exchangeof SISU, were invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Consulate General of Belarus in Chongqing.

At the opening ceremony,president Dong Hongchuan and Belarusian Ambassador to China signed a cooperation agreement between SISU and Minsk State Linguistic University. On behalf ofCollege of Russian Studies of SISU, Yang Jun signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Belarusian Tourist and Cultural Commodity Center.

It was the first international cooperation achievement in the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan of SISUand would help the development of Russian major of SISU, which was the first batch of national first-class major.
