On February10, 2021, president Dong Hongchuan, vice president Li Yan, vice president Zheng Bailing, and the leaders of the departments of SISU had a “New Year’s Eve dinner” with the students who stayed in SISU during the winter vacation. Six overseas students from Thailand, Togo, Egypt, Spain and the Philippines participated in this activity. Zhang Yong, an international student from Togo, expressed his gratitude towards the warm concerns from SISU and wished everyone a happy new year on behalf of all the international students of SISU. Zhu Tianxiang, deputy director of Office of  International Cooperation and Exchange, also had dinner with the international students and hoped that they could strengthen interaction with Chinese students.
