On January 24, 2025, the Confucius Institute at the University of Lome organized a Chinese New Year celebration.

The students experienced making tangyuan (sweet dumplings) and practicing calligraphy, and participated in a various activities such as table tennis, shuttlecock kicking, and ring-toss. Through these activities, they had intuitive feeling of the liveliness and warmth of the Spring Festival and gained a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.
