From April 2 to April 3, 2019, Vice President Zhu Chaowei attended the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Language and Big Data Alliance. In the forum of “The Big Data for Global Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, Zhu Chaowei shared his view of the impacts, opportunities and challenges facing the construction of language services and translation majors brought by artificial intelligence and language big data. During the conference, members of the participating alliances also conducted in-depth discussions on the development of education and the sharing of educational resources in the era of big data and artificial intelligence. They also exchanged views on the application of artificial intelligence and big data in teaching, scientific research and other practical fields.
