On September 4, 2023, a delegation led by Consul General Ms. Florida Ann Camille P. Mayo of the Consulate General of the Philippines in Chongqing, along with a delegation from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and universities in the Philippines headed by Ms. Lily Freida M. Mira, Director of the International Division, visited SISU.

President Dong Hongchuan expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation with higher education institutions in the Philippines on scientific research, and welcomed Philippine students to study in SISU.

Ms. Mayo expressed her hope for successful collaboration between SISU and Philippine universities in language education. Ms. Mira invited SISU’s experts and scholars to visit Philippines. Subsequently, representatives from Philippine universities and SISU had a friendly exchange.
