On May 20, 2025, a delegation led by Gao Yingjun, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, visited SISU. Gou Chaoli, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, along with relevant officials from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, College of Chinese Language and Culture, and College of Eastern Languages and Cultures, met with the guests.

The two sides reached an agreement on inter-university cooperation, mutual recognition of credits, cooperation in running schools, mutual exchange of short-term groups, and promoting Vietnamese youth to study in Chongqing.
