On October 24, a delegation led by Jenny Watling, Vice-Chancellor of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) in the UK, visited SISU.

Dong Hongchuan welcomed the guests and expressed that SISU highly values the cooperation with MMU. He believed that Jenny Watling’s visit would further enhance the exchange between the two universities.

Jenny Watling was delighted to establish new cooperative relations with SISU on the occasion of MMU’s 200th anniversary. She emphasized that the focus of this visit was to actively implement the next steps in advancing the collaboration and establishing a high-quality joint institute.

The two parties reached an agreement on cooperation in areas such as Sino-UK cooperative education and the 1+1+1 master’s dual degree program.
