During the Spring Festival of 2022, the Confucius Institute at Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod held "Celebrate Chinese New Year, Welcome Winter Olympics" poster competition for primary and secondary school students of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

By February 1, the Confucius Institute had received more than 100 entries. Many students showed Chinese New Year elements such as Chinese dragon, red lantern and little-tiger paper-cuttings in their works. Other children gave full play to their imagination to draw the Beijing Winter Olympics, showing their love for ice and snow sports and their longing for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
