On May 17, 2025, the Confucius Institute at Linguistics University of Nizhni Novgorod (LUNN) successfully held the second Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) for the 2024-2025 academic year. There were 352 examinees, which sets a new record for attendance since the establishment of the testing center.

The HSK test not only attracted local Chinese learners in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, but also drew many candidates from other regions.
