On April 24,2025, the delegation led by Yoshiyuki Omori, the President of Sapporo University visited SISU. Zou Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee of SISU, and Gou Chaoli, Deputy Secretary meet with the delegation. Heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, College of International Education, and College of Japanese studies attended the meeting.

Zou Yu welcomed the delegation and make an introduction of SISU and the achievements of the Japanese Studies, and expressed the intention to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between SISU and Sapporo University. Yoshiyuki Omori expressed gratitude and the willingness to promote the cooperation and exchange in various aspects between the two universities.
