On March 8, 2019, International Women's Day, Chen Ying, associate professor of Department of French and Italian in SISU, and four postgraduate students, were invited by the Cultural Center of the Italian Embassy in China to attend a literature forum held in Beijing. They discussed and exchanged their opinions on “Italian Female Writing—From the Translator's Perspective” with other participants.
