On September 13, 2021, the signing ceremony of "Academic Librarianship Alliance for Portuguese Language Resources between Macao Special Administrative Region and the Mainland of China" was held in the form of video. Prof. He Yan, the chief librarian of SISU Library, attended this ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of SISU.

This Academic Librarianship Alliance was initiated by the University of Macao. It aims to strengthen the connection between academic libraries in the Macao SAR and the Mainland, as well as to promote professional cooperation and resource sharing among the libraries. The members of the Alliance are Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing International Studies University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai), City University of Macau, Communication University of China, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Sichuan Normal University, Macau University of Science and Technology, Peking University, Shanghai International Studies University, Sichuan International Studies University, Sun Yat-sen University, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, Tsinghua University, University of International Business and Economics, University of Macau, University of Saint Joseph, Xi’an International Studies University and Zhejiang International Studies University.
