On November 15, SISU International Culture Festival 2024 was held at the western sports field. Tens of thousands of Chinese and foreign youth and students from over 40 countries in the Chengdu-Chongqing region participated in the event. Representatives from the Ministry of Education, the consulates in Chongqing, and relevant Chongqing municipal units attended the opening ceremony. President Dong Hongchuan, Deputy Secretary Gou Chaoli, Vice-President Wang Renqiang, Vice-President Yan Gongjun, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Yang Guoxiang of SISU attended the festival.

The International Culture Festival featured 38 international cultural exhibition booths, showcasing local customs, traditional costumes and cuisine.

During the stage performance, students from SISU presented traditional dances from Germany, Russia, and Italy, as well as song and dance performances in French, Thai, and Vietnamese.
