Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the preliminary competition of the 19th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for college students in Togo was held online. Nearly 40 competitors uploaded their videos.    

On June 11, 9 contestants were selected to enter the final, judged by Chinese teachers of the Confucius Instituteat University of Lome. The tutors set up a “WhatsApp” group to give one-to-one advice to the contestants.    

On June 27, Chinese dean of the Confucius Institute Zhu Yushan answered questions about the arrangement and the use of the platform. Besides, she wished the constants to achieve successes in the final competition.
