On February 2 and 16 local time, activities to celebrate the new year of the Pig in the lunar calendar and Lantern Festival were respectively held in Confucius Institute of National Language University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. Dean Yao Xia hosted two lectures to propagate basic knowledge about Chinese Spring Festival and Lantern Festival to enthusiasts who wanted to learn Chinese.
